Copper electrodeposition is the process of obtaining copper through metal deposition in copper-rich liquid by the electrodeposition method, which is the last process of producing copper by the wet method. In the leaching-extraction-electrodeposition process, water is decomposed on the anode to precipitate O2, and the cathodic process is the same as electrolytic refining, i.e. Cu²⁺ obtains electrons on the cathode and precipitates copper. Pb-based alloy anode plates with a lower corrosion rate are used.
